These prefix posters are a great visual to add to any lesson on prefixes. I have chosen 16 of the most common prefixes to be displayed in your classroom or to keep in centers. These visual representations offer the definition, a word example, sentence and picture for each prefix.

Also included are prefix fill-ins that allow the teacher to brainstorm a list of words containing those prefixes or the child to “be on the lookout” for those prefix words in their reading. Areas are also included to incorporate the definition, sentence, and meaning of the word with the prefix on the page.

These are whole sheet posters, but can be printed 2 or 4 to a page in your printer settings to use in centers, small groups or interactive notebooks.
