Looking to have main idea and details experts in your classroom? This BOOM deck allows for students to practice main ideas and details in 2 different ways. This product is digital on the BOOM platform and offers immediate feedback for students.
Students will practice main idea and details in TWO different ways:
- Read a short passage and identify the main idea
- Given the main idea in a passage, which detail does NOT support the main idea
These cards are great to use for:
• Whole Class Instruction
• Mini Lessons
• Small Group Instruction
• Math Centers
• Independent Work
• Intervention
When you purchase, you will receive a PDF with a link to your BOOM cards since they are housed on the BOOM website. If this is your first time, you will be asked to create a FREE account. If you have purchased before, simply visit your library.
Boom Cards live in the cloud. They can’t be printed. They play on most modern browsers, Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. You open a Boom Learning account to play them (to protect the children). Create Fast Play pins to assign your Boom Cards to students.
Boom Learning also has premium accounts. Premium accounts offer advanced assignment tools, individual and whole class performance tracking, and more. If you are a new Boom Learning customer, when you redeem your Boom Cards purchase you get 90-day free trial of a premium account. When your trial ends, you can renew or move to a free account. You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time. Free accounts use purchased Boom Cards with Fast Play pins.
Q: Are these available in a printable format?
A: Yes, once purchased, you can log into your boom account and click the print option
