How long will this Halloween crack the code math mystery take?
This activity is intended to be review. During whole group, review the skills quickly before passing out the math mystery. Then, watch the video or read the mystery to the students! I prefer to do these packets in partners. For me, it can take my class anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour on average. If it’s your first math mystery, the timing may take a bit longer until students understand the format.
