We know a lot about the summer slide. As teachers, we try EVERYTHING to keep students engaged and working during the school year, but often overlook summer. Here is a Summer Book Bingo that your elementary students are sure to enjoy! Share the bingo sheet, define the outcome (blackout, 5 in a row, 4 corners, etc), share the reward and see what your students come back with the following year! I love using this every year and have about 50% of my class turn them back in! I’ll take it!
